Green River has developed hunderds of software applications since its incorporation in March 2000. Our team favors open source technologies while maintaining a broad and constantly evolving skill set to serve our clients' needs. The majority of our applications are written in Ruby, PHP, and Perl, with a MySQL relational database backend. We recognize and embrace the fact that most projects evolve over their lifetime. We use a development methodology built on close collaboration with our clients on an ongoing basis to build high quality software.
Software Hosting and Maintenance
Production hosting, maintenance, and enhancements commence when an application is deployed. Green River provides hosting on its network and maintains the software, and is able to keep software online continuously (24×7) using automated monitoring systems. All servers are located only a block away from our main office in a high end facility with power backup, cooling, two full racks, and bandwidth provided by a Tier 1 provider. Having developers and system administrators take responsiblity for maintaining software after it's written is essential to the long term success of software projects.
